Description
A belated Christmas gift for my dear friend, colleague and fellow geek , who built a papercraft TWOK phaser for me. As me and paper together usually results in disaster, I built this little 3D X-Wing fighter for her instead.Yeah, folks, my first Star Wars model and boy, was it hard to build! I think it was a harder case then the Sovereign class! The texturing was fun, it was interesting to make this poor bird look all beaten and burnt. Animating it was tricky, but the S-foils DO lock into attack position. And she comes with the classic R2 astromech unit, a red one as requested. I think it's a she and answers to the name of Jezabel. Only the Force knows why...

This is great work for your first star wars model. As for Star wars being more complex model wise I think a fully rendered Borg cube would beat out most models. Ugh, all those pipes, someone call a plumber please!

Volt vele munka rendesen. Elfelejtettem enni és aludni egy napig, erre ráküldtem egy nagy Monster energiaitalt... nem volt népünnepély a ketyegőmnek. Tanulság: Írd fel egy papírlapra, vagy valahova, hogy alapvető biológiai funkciókat nem ildomos elhanyagolni.

Yeah, the Falcon... One day, maybe. Like I said, SW models are miles ahead of Trek ones in the sense of compexity. The Falcon, with its completely irregular shape and detail is too much for my skills at the moment. But never say never

An idea for a potential crossover - Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Cardassians, and Rebels on one side, Empire and Dominion on another, and have the Borg as a third faction attacking both of the others. When they feel like it, of course.
