Description
This if for the contest of : [link]I decided to paint her Balthazar whom you can see here: [link]
Quite to the beginning of the painting I was about to panic, thinking that I couldn't do it the way I imagined it. On the next day I layed out the basic light and shadows, which raised my confidence again. I was pushing myself quite to the limits with this, but in the end it turned out well enough.
I think I've gone overboard with details, although I tried not to. But it looked so unfinished.
I painted this over some 10 days,

Oh, yes, that's so true. I was consumed by trying to do the pose at all that I missed checking for logic.

wow, was hast du da nur rausgeholt
das fell sieht aus als wäre es eine sprichwörtliche tortur gewesen. die bewegung in den haaren sieht jetzt so fertig noch viel realistischer aus.
ich mag auch die klauen, ein bisschen wie löwen tatzen xD das licht ist toll gesetzt, die flügel sind auch der hammer
der schwan sieht super aus, er tut mir fast ein wenig leid |D
wünsch dir jedenfalls viel glück beim wettbewerb, würd mich wundern wenn das nix wird

Die Klauen waren ein Krampf, das hab ich dir eh schon einmal erzählt... xD die linke Vorderklaue war besonders hartnäckig. Da hat's erst am vorletzten Tag klick gemacht.
