Here is another Felix's show-based artwork. Even though what you can see above still isn't Felix we all know, yet his mechanical copy from "Mechanical Felix" episode is quite close enough. Oh, and please pay attention to the background, when you can glare in amazement at Professor's hi-tech machinery! In modern times, when cartoon laboratories resemble inside-outs of refrigerator smeared all over the room, this is something to remember...
The Professor and Felix the Cat belong to Felix the Cat Productions...

Uhmm... I'm pretty sure you get reenact your happy memories by purchasing the golden anniversary dvd that contains episode depicted within this fanart of mine. 
Oh, and I'm pretty sure that Epic Mickey cannot contain licensed characters they don't own.

The bad thing about the idea is that the whole thing actually happened within one of the 1950's episodes of Felix. Search youtube for "Mechanical Felix" for a lot of scares, overdose of deus ex machinas and really annoying side of Felix's multi-era personality!

that's why i always prefered the old 30's felix or the Wicked tales instead of those Hannah barbera ones

Above all else "Twisted tales.." got Felix's and Poindexter's personalities right. Too bad that the animators didn't bothered to use the Professor---with his obsessions and insane inventions he could have become an alternative to good ole' Ivo from AoSth.

True! as a matter of fact i find AoSth spirit and Twisted tales pretty similar! 'looked like we could almost get a return from the old surreal 30/40s cartoon!

This is the only good thing we get from the fact of "Felix the cat productions inc." existance---a chance to have a decent Felix series without having to battle over ownership (unlike all the cartoons that were pushed entirely into public domain)... I do hope that within some time Don Oriolo will hire DECENT animation studio to work on Felix.

You should look into my old Felix fanfic I never finished. It involved the resurficing of Alex the cat(Felix's look-alike cousin from Australia, who instead of being black is white. Alex appeared in a single one of Felix's newspaper comic stories- and I LOVED IT!... Lets just say a little black paint resulted in a lot of laughs.) with Felix's friends from the cartoon.

Plot: Alex comes back for another meeting with Cousin Felix (Who's still sore about what happened before... Alex STILL has the hots for Kitty, and the story is mentioned in the pic description.). Alex isn't really that bad a guy, he just can't resist the practical jokes. He gets tricked by both Master Cylinder AND the professor into thinking that stealing Felix's bag would be the ultimate prank...
