Digital painting of Boris Karloff who played my favourite movie monster.. the creature of Frankenstein.Hopefully I've mangaged to pay respectful homage while adding just a right dash o cartoonism so it retains more resemblance of Frankensteins Monster without going into Herman Monster territory!
...oh and a happy Halloween to you all.

Thank you,found this rather fun to paint and you know i dont think Ive ever ever painted a straight portrait without the caricature creeping into it. Gogos works is gorgeous, love looking at it ....simple portraits but with so much added vitality.
Oh i see you read a reply to this posting from earlier but i bet you never picked up on a little joke reference to the above actor in those lines...im really proud of getting that in ever so slyly

You see Boris Karloff actual name was William Henry Pratt before he adopted his new moniker for the movies.
I sure all would agree a sterling piece of highly useful trivia there , please be sure to use in a responsible manner.
