Mai-Otome fanart.The awesome Haruka, dressed in a costume which sort of looks like the Pearl Class dress, but is in her usual green.
This isn't my usual style of colouring, but I wanted a break from depth of colour after my last drawing. This method of colouring with a base colour, a highlight and one or two shades of shadow presented their own problems though- I was so used to building up levels of shadow that I wasn't quite sure what to do.
Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this. I'm pleased with how the lineart came out. Much cleaner than my usual sketchy style.
