What mistakes might I correct....
The thought suddenly came to me after all this time. I've been so focused with Anubis that the memory had escaped.
But as I sat there alone in the dark only lit by a little flame, the harsh words and heavy-hearted gazes came back to haunt me.
Oh no! You've only drag me around and stressed me out throughout this entire thing! I've tried to keep us out of trouble, but you're too trapped in your own head to even listen to me! I've tried and I've tried to keep it together, but-.... So yeah, how on Earth could you ever get the idea that you drive me insane!?
'I'm sorry, do you really mean that Hare?'
'I'm sorry Hare! I just didn't want to be a fire draken! I didn't mean to such a nuisance!'
'....I-I'm s-sorry...Har-re...'
Nicolai's voice made my heart sink deeper with each apologetic mutter.
Each ridiculing inflection in my young voice left chest inflamed with loathing.
I didn't really mean it, it was the rock, right?
But I knew that a stone couldn't have placed those thoughts in my mind.
They were mine.
I apologized over and over, Didn't I? I corrected myself, right?
No.
My apologizes meant nothing then....
They can't mean anything now.
You're heartless.
Tired and rightfully broken, I sat my head down on the desk.
