HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY ZORO!!!!!!Hey guys and gals! It's been a while since I've uploaded anything...sorry, I've been rather busy with working full time, becoming an aunt again and helping out, and with my mother visiting(helping my sister out w/ the new baby) from Japan. This is one of the first weekends in a long time where I've actually been able to sit in front of my computer for more than 5 minutes.
Anyway, I digress. I just had to draw a pic for our beloved Zoro's birthday. I started on the sketches on Monday, but I didn't have time until Friday to work on it...and so it's not great and rather plain, and very belated for that matter...but it's the thought that counts!!! XD I also left his swords out because they looked really stupid when I drew them in (weapons are NOT my forte)
Also, Zoro's birthday is on 11/11, which is also Pocky Day! I hope you all had a wonderful Pocky Day! XD

Thank you my dear! My new nephew's doing great! He just turned a month old yesterday! And my other nephew's being a surprisingly good big brother.
And I'm glad you like 2Y Zoro. I was going to do a Pocky theme for the pic, but I got too lazy and ran out of time. Oh well.

...I guess I never thought of it that way...I hope they don't turn out THAT EXTREME...since the D Brother fluff in my head would not be appropriate for real life brothers. XD
Mmmhmm...Chopper's birthday is the next one up(12/26). I don't know if I'll do one for Chopper...don't get me wrong, I adore him, but I'm just not feeling inspired this time around, and I absolutely suck at drawing cute, furry animals. Oh well, we shall see.

Well...duh! Zoro=Sexy in my book. He's the first character in OP that I developed a fangirl crush on...I mean, there have been many more since then, but Zoro was the FIRST! And thus, he's special! And I still totally have a fangirl crush on him, so good for you Zoro! I hope you always stay smoking hot smexy! XD

I so agree with you. Zoro is special! I got a little crush on him. My boyfriend is like a mix of Zoro and Sanji. IT is funny if you think about it. Ace is next my book!

Ha ha ha! That's just the way I draw faces. If you look at my other pics, you can see that I tend to draw more angular faces. It's just my style. XD
The program I use is SAI, since that's the cheapest program that I could find(but it's an excellent program and well worth the price)...I can't justify spending $500 on a program like Photoshop, unless I need to use it for work or something...I know Painter's cheaper, but I went with SAI and I'm quite pleased with it! X3

Oh, I've been searching for SAI, but can't find it at all. Heard that it's really easy, fun and excellent to use. Better than Photoshop?

It really is easy to use. I have no idea if it's better than Photoshop. I think you can potentially do a lot more with photoshop, but then again, the true intention for Photoshop....is to alter photos...so I don't know which is better. If you're looking for an affordable drawing/painting program, then I don't think you can go wrong with SAI.
