Description As hinted at in the WIPs, here's the full-sized, finished 'Wilde'. Mixed media, 2013 - and there are prints! Sings 'Someday My Prints Will Come'. Archival quality, giclee prints, printed on cotton fibre paper, available over at the Etsy Shop.

The quotes were taken from numerous works, including 'The Picture of Dorian Gray', 'The Ballad of Reading Gaol', 'A Woman of No Importance' and 'Phrases and Philosophies for the Use of the Young', with a motif inspired by the essay 'The Decay of Lying' and Wilde's own fondness for green carnations.

This piece really drew me in. The details are beautiful and I didn't quite notice the words right away, which made me take a closer look. You also did a wonderful job on Oscar Wilde. I looked at the original photo and you captured his expression very well.
