The "Luna" tarot card signifies good luck and a safe voyage through time and space but also from this existence to the next."The Girl Who knows Where The Stars Are" as she is often called, dwells in the heavens and is familiar with the ways there. This allows her to see the lines of benevolent destinies within the web of all possible futures.

Cool song, but to me it doesn't match the card. That trump has a lot of uncomfortable and psychologically exploratory stuff in it, like something from out of the Prisoner. Just a thought. I always liked the Moon trump from Crowley's Deck of Thoth best.

I was just making it up as part of a Rodinian Tarot system. Perhaps the meaning has evolved over the centuries.
I'm glad my friend did the haunting horns at the end of the song now that you've shown me the original meaning.
My Luna is a benevolent figure but I think I like the original more. It'd be cool to do a darker one.
Or perhaps in Rodinia people are more in touch with themselves an so the journey through their abyss is more exciting than frightening.

Thank you, glad to help. The tarot is much more complex than most people know, its connections with the Tree of Life and zodiac. There's always my hope for a song remix with this new information, or another track entirely. I mean, a female astro-navigator guiding the lost while in their moon card is ripe for all kinds of lyrical development. That begs the question: what if she becomes disenfranchised, slipping into her own moon card? Then what do our and psychonauts do when their hyperspace Initiatrix gets lost in Chapel Perilous, her own cracking mirrored reality tunnel? It's practically a Hawkwind song already....
