Based off the cover for the Golden Age of Marvel Comics www.comicvine.com/the-golden-a⦠(I replaced Ms. America with the Destroyer since she wasn't around back then and also because the Destroyer is awesome!) it's was a graphic novel that contain a lot of adventures from Marvel's Golden Age when it was TImely comics with Superheroes like the Sub-Mariner, the Human Torch (Not Johnny Storm, an Android who at first seemed like a force for destruction but later turned out to be good) and the old adventures of Captain America and his sidekick, Bucky! It also showed off underrated Golden Age heroes such as the Destroyer (pictured running) and the Golden Age Vision. Before Cap was an Avenger, he was part of the Invaders! A superhero team made up of Golden Age heroes to take on the Axis Powers during WW2! And as you see the Invaders are taking on the evil Red Skull and his SS Hydra Division! They had a series of their own in the 1970s. Fun read, but the art is UGLY at times.

Oh I know they did. Yeah as much as I love Jack Kirby, sometimes his work is not pleasant to look at.

Frank Springer's art wasn't the best either in that series. Which is a shame as he did Dazzler's solo title later on (Yes, Dazzler had a solo book for a while), and from what I saw, the art was much better.
