My OC Natalie Gardner scared out of her wits by a Joro Gumo. For the record, she had a traumatic experience involving one of these creatures as a kid when she wandered real deep in the woods and was almost eaten, until her father showed up, killed the monster and save her. She's been extremely terrified of spiders ever since. Originally this piece started out as a pencil sketch early last month, and last week I finished the sketch, went over it with ink on tracing paper, scanned the inked tracing paper and then colored it digitally. The lines are a bit inconsistent in places, in some places it's bold and in others it's really thin.
But overall, I really like this! I especially love the texture on the webs. The spiders are also really scary, so that's great.
