I love the way the wings or air foils are arranged!

Thanks for the comment. I use Copic markers and pen for the details.

This is quite an interesting design to be sure.
How would this fighter dock or land though?

Thanks for the comment. It is a zero-gravity fighter so would be attached to a carrier or capital ship would have a specially designed harness on its mother ship for non-pressurised environments. The pilot would also be able to enter/exit using a standard boarding ramp in pressurised hangars as well. It isn't built for atmospheric entry, though, so would not have to contend with surface landings. Hope that answers your question.

Thanks. I use a black pen to lay down random dots over the hull and in the shadow. Hope that helps.

I love it. It's the sort of design that goes up there perfectly with iconic designs for fighters while still bringing something new to the table.

Great work, Anime style. Could be used in the Star Wars seting or Wing Commander. Come to think of it, this looks like a P-64 Ferret on steriods.

Thanks. Looks a little like the P-64 Ferret, I guess - although that was not the inspiration for it by any means. Glad you like it though.

nice work ! SF designs need to include something the viewer can relate to, or else they will not be comprehensible. So, reminding the viewer of something else is a feature, not a bug. imho, of course.

Thanks for the comment. I agree. Having something to relate to makes it far easier to give it form in the imagination. It's easy enough to draw ships that no-one has ever seen before but making them reminiscent of something the viewer might have seen already helps make them believable.

The body and cockpit remind me of BSG's Viper fighters. Pretty cool.

Thanks for the comment. I guess with all the starships around, it's bound to look like something.
