yuk...this page looks terrible...but since i'm going home for at least two weeks towmorrow, i thought i'd better do a page today...since i may not post a lot in the coming weeksanyway, a tough decision for kovu : to give back or not to give back, th at is the question...
oh and the colours may be a little different, brighter actually, because, well, it looked super dark otherwise , so let's say the sun is rising so more light is coming

Shirai is a killer too, and he wasnt just trained to be one like, he is one. ( also i couldnt just have an entire interaction with Kovu still holding shirai to ground ^^ it would have been boring. Also it was a way to show that shirai is dangerous )

If there's any confusion with my post it was probably because I wrote it on my phone.
I mean offer you advice on your page layouts which is what I think you are weakest at right now.
Your art is passable and the more you work at it the more you improve. Buuuuut you can run into huge story problems if you don't get your frames right.
Like the fight in this page? You could have dedicated a much larger portion of the page to show the physical altercation. Like, I might have had the sequence of Kovu pouncing [breaking through the frame barriers to show the fast movement, his verbal exchange with the lion, then followed by him being kicked off.
The next page pulls back with Kovu recovering to his feet and snarling.
Like, the biggest thing some comic artists get stuck on is the priority of their frames.

I appreciate the offer but i do this comic for fun and and dont care much about it looking perfect. I know its anything but, but this takes enough of my time already, and i do my best to make it look ok. So, thanks but no thanks.
