Description This is an idea I had of how desktop widgets could look in elementary OS, with the Pantheon Shell. I made it in Gimp, so it's not actually anything I coded, but basically a concept.

I think I used too many shadows.

i don't use desktop that much since i switched to elementary. Maybe an icon that will minimize all the windows and leave the widgets on the desktop will be useful. and when you click it again to bring apps back on. Or a corner designed for them.

I like the idea but i think just leaving them on the desktop will not be as useful since elementary doesn't even have a minimization button.
