Shades of the Cutlass in there. NEAT!

Love it! but get ready for some Aerospace logic... the side mounted missiles are a big no no, any noob pilot would aim for em. why not mount em under the gun pods?

Oh I know they are, its just that non of those aircraft had canards... during testing the canards caused turbulence for a launching missile.
I hope you can tell im not trying to troll you, its just ive worked on jets and learned this in my studies.

About turbulence... As I know, turbulence flow will be after canard, but I placed missiles below canard...
I don't sure, but I think, that flow condition below canard are same, that below wing... there often placed missiles.

hmmm... makes sense. but every air craft has its flaws, with the SF-383 we wont know till the design is tested in an air tunnel. ^_^

Something strangely organic about those lines.
Are the gun-pods canted slightly inward to make up for how far out they are?

Side mounted guns in WW2 were set to cross each others path at a set distance, this is called "gun convergence". A good example would be this.

When dog-fighting, to maximize weapon effectiveness, pilots usually take the shots at exactly the convergence range to ensure that both rounds hits the target at the exact spot...

Perspective makes it look that way... but...
for wing mounted guns, giving them a small amount of adjustability was normal in WW2 designs, at least. That way, you could determine how far in front of the aircraft the trajectories converged.

One could only assume so in this case since these cannons have the full wingspan between them and would need to be adjusted pretty significantly to hit anything fighter-sized.

Very unconventional design. I like it.

nice love the vertical stabiliser and duel engine mounting.
