This is an awesome work you did there with this parrot griffin on of Disney's old obscure characters. Keep it up.

You Brazilians who are newcomers to this gallery really need to dig a bit deeper and not just focus on this one fanart that has been done before. Or don't really its up to you, take this as some friendly advice.

José Carioca is actually a character created by Disney as a homage to Brazil. In Portuguese he is called Zé Carioca. Zé is an abbreviation of his name and Zé sounds like Zeh. José > Zé (Zeh) Goi it?
It was created as a parrot because of the popularity of this type of animal around here. ^^

Ah yes! He appeared in TV Cartoon Shows: Two Happy Amigos (1960) and Carnival Time (1962). In 1999, he appears in the episode "Mickey Tries to Cook" of the animated series Mickey Mouse Works, between 2001 and 2002 and he was created for the movie Alô, Amigos (Saludos Amigos) of 1942. The character has also appeared in countless comic books in Brazil, in Latin American countries and in some comic strips right there in the United States.
PS: Zé Carioca has been seen in some presentations in other Disney productions along the decades.

Yeah! Unfortunately something like that! But I think he's very interesting and I do not say that because I'm a Brazilian. I love his design, his shapes and colors.
