To operate the 30x137mm cannon a person must use the fire control system behind the driver's seat. A baseline version of the M11 has a curb weight of 3 402 kg. However the vehicle weight differs depending on armament and armor packs. Payload capacity also ranges from 1515 to 2313 kg depending on armament configuration. The M11 can tow trailers and light artillery pieces with a maximum weight of 1905 kg. Defense measures include a retractable iron hammer APS behind the passenger cab supporting the 45mm of tungsten carbide armor. It is easy to build maintain and drive a trifecta making it popular for light utility duty and combat support operations.
