Description The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's Main Battle tank is armed with a 130mm L51 smooth Bore cannon the Type 4000 was first seen in combat during the second Sino-Vietnamese war, then in Africa, Tajikistan and Iran soon earning the nick name Tyrant by ULS military analysts, and the many victims of rape or other war crimes. The Type 4000 is a true successor to the Type 3000 and is vastly superior. It copies and improves many features of the Russian Armata 2, the electric transmission is a lighter and more durable it uses an electric motor with a gas turbine generator that can recharge the tank's primary electric motor's Lithium Ion batteries. This small turbine only weights in at 500lbs making it a light weight component. Its primary protection is a Yangzi 3 point defense system, capable of protecting the tank in a combat zone. The tank hull and turret is primarily made of simple and abundant Aluminum Steal composites. Its armor and protection are separate than the tank's main body. Compared to the ULS M7 MBT is smaller and at 48 tons fully loaded it is a good 5 tons lighter than the American counterpart. The down fall of this cheap easily maintained and mobile tank is that the range of the 130mm cannon is 6.8km vs the M7's 140mm cannons 7.5km range. The Tyrant during the North American Campaign of WW3 was delegated to harsh counterinsurgency warfare as well as guard duty in cities and other vital resource sites.

UP ARMORED
When the main Chinese landing force occupied California its first effort to push eastward in to Arizona and North into Oregon the main armored forces of the 1st Armored Brigade 2nd and 3rd tank regiments suffered heavy casualties as the new FGM-250 Dragon Slayer speed and explosive payload proved to be insanely effective at stopping the Type 4000 in direct fire and top attack mode that the SCO troops began mounting ERA plates on their tanks to reduce likelihood of confirmed kills. While missiles like the Javelin and Griffon were largely able to damage the Type 4000 or stop it for a period of time the advanced composite material and active protection systems stolen from Germany made the Type 4000 effective in almost all combat environments. The tank suffered heavy casualties and as the occupation dragged on, eventually the only areas the Chinese could actively hold were their gains in California, Mexico and their small enclaves Montana. Armament

The Tyrant 400 has 130mm smooth boreΒ cannon capable of firing APFSDS, HESH, guided missiles, HEAT and HE. There is also a remote weapon station on the turret armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun. The fire control system has hunter-killer capabilities, laser rangefinder, panoramic sight, a third generation thermal imaging system, and ground penetrating radar.

Protection

The tank appears to have composite and explosive reactive armor. The turret front has wedge shaped armor and the hull sides has armored side skirts. The tank is equipped with an active protection system, which is linked to the defensive grenade launchers, and a laser warning device. The vehicle also has an IFF system, NBC protection, explosion suppression system, fire extinguishing system, and air conditioning. All forms of protection can be removed by the three man crew and replaced in a few hours, or by mechanics in about 90 minutes.

Mobility

A 4 ton electric motor provide 150kw per ton and uses a torsion bar suspension and an integrated system. Steering and acceleration is handled by a steering wheel and automatic gear transmission.

Command and control

The tank is also integrated with digital communications systems for tank-tank communication and communication between field commanders. Some units are fitted with drones able to provide communications in nuclear fallout.
