This time Fenris is happy! A commission for to go with her Zevran, it's Fenris! This time with his sword and the Book of Shartan in addition to the little love tokens my first Fenris had. ^.^ These pictures came out brighter, so if you want to see more detail of the armor and hair and such the first Fenris deviation came out better for that. ; p

I was glad I got the chance to make a pouty Fenris and then this Fenris with a softer expression. One of the things I really liked about him as a character was that while his backstory slotted him into the dark loner-brooder category, he really didn't behave that way. Sure he had his brusque moments, but generally speaking he was willing to ask for an accept help, he took the prodding of fellow party members with amusement and humor as often as anger, and he really does try to be fair and rational in his dealings with people and the PC despite his past. So yeah, I enjoyed getting to show that non-cookie-cutter side of him.

The pleather that looks so good on him still proved to be a pain to attach detailing to, I think it came out alright though.

He has little functional velcro'd pouches on his belt just like the last one. ; )

I'm really happy with the props though, my first book was a lumpy mess, so the second time I decided to forgo stuffing and just put a fleece cover on a thick piece of craft foam-- gave it more solidity and looked a -lot- better. Also replaced gold painted letters with iron-on printed letters-- I think it just looks a lot classier than my bad handwriting. ; p

The sword is layered craft foam and silver marker detailing with some small plastic gems around the crossguard. The handle and tang are clay-- I like the combination since it let me get the twisty effect I wanted for the sword handle. ^.^

Both props are magnetic, and he has magnets in his hands and shoulder so he can hold them or wear the sword.

Fenris is about 14" tall made of suedecloth and fleece and dressed in pleather with fleece details. His face is iron on transfer colored with Copic marker. His love token crest is printed iron on. His lyrium tattoos are pearly acrylic paint with fabric medium. His book is craft foam with a fleece cover and his sword is craft foam with clay. His magnets are neodymium.
