Well, she is a ancient unicorn who once lived in The Wild Lands, before unicorns and earth ponies give rise to contemporary unicorns (unicorns hooves and ponytail, as Twilight Sparkle and the others unicorns in the show). Now that The Wild Lands have become Equestria and unicorns are not more like her, roaming the world searching for other ancient unicorns
