This new show they are making is hideous and the people responsible should be lynched and not allowed to even draw on the back of a bathroom stall door.

A lion-o who's true to the source material is what artists and animators should strive for and this picture captures Lion-o's ferocity.

Gosh have you seen the trailer for that stupid new Thundercats show βThunderCats Roarβ? The art style is hideous! They really ruined it!
Anyways. This piece is adorable! Lion-O looks so cute!

No offense but looking at your gallery I kind of imagine you will. That show is dangerously ugly, loud and obnoxious and really just not fun. Thundercats is not a serious franchise to begin with but damn this is SEWER level of low standarts. This does not need to be the status quo of entertainment.

That's just rude.
Visual style is completely subjective, dumping on someone for expressing an opinion is immature, and nasty.

I was going to post a long comment but there is no point this does not concern you at all really.
Have a good day.

You added your opinion to something that didn't concern you, then took a stab at someone for no reason.
Quit being passive aggressive.
If you have such a huge issue with the show write to Warner Bros about it.

Not taking a stab at anyone really, you are just vasty taking my words out of context and raising things out of proportion.
So befor you try to white knight somebody stop and think if you really should sweetheart.
No ill will was had above, if you think otherwise that is your own problem.
Good day or night, whatever have you.

Actually I am not super excited for it. Something tells me that it will be meh. Besides maybe the Snarf's redesign (which I just found cute for some reason) I didn't see anything interesting about it. I just think people are blowing this out of portion.
Especially since it hasn't actually aired yet.
Also I know you said no offense but, I am legitimately confused about what you mean by my profile. I actually don't really have much on it (mainly because I am new and just happened to get obsessed with one show at the moment) and I actually HATE really loud and in your face cartoons. Like Breadwinners or Teen Titans Go. Just a tad offended. I know you weren't trying to but, it really did come off as offenses. π

Well think of it this way- shows like this are trendsetters using Nostalgic bait to get older fans to come back to a childhood franchise and introduce their children into it to. More money and more toys sold by the company. Whatever the case maybe people are indeed overreacting but the point is not in the show itself rather the easthetic. If this continues to happen shows like this will become the norm and frankly I find that sickening. Cartoons can be good and that can generate a profit so unless people voice their concerns the corporation will continue to churn this diahrrea and children and adults will lower their expectations so low that they would not care if a CEO gives them a turd coated in glitter, in fact that is happening right now, and lets not forget the mass media corporations using this kind of entertainment as a platform to have some biased producer shove their political and social views down your throat. No this has to stop.

Heated? Not really I appreciated a straightforward answer.
I have no idea how young you are but if you are younger than 25 I have to tell you that CN really, died several years ago way before TTG really.
I personally dont even care about Thundercats that much I watched the 2011 reboot I kind of liked it, shame it had no conclusion but I wont really start WW3 over it. I am just sick of seeing ugly ass cartoons man ya know?

Yeah I definitely understand that. Wouldn't flat out said my real age but, I am definitely not really young (older than 25 for sure) and I have been with CN for awhile. I had gotten a tad bit worried during the 2010's but, the network at first had some good stuff. It just happened that TTG started to expose them as the money grubbing bastards they are.
Not sure how much of the newer cartoons you have seen but, there were many good ones there. Steven Universe, Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, and so much more. For me at least I don't mind how it looks as long as it is entertaining. However, CN... just didn't just die here, it stopped caring. It no longer cared about it older viewers.
If you want some good new modern cartoons go to Disney XD. Yeah they aren't perfect and don't have as much great cartoons as CN once had. But, you know what? They have one thing that CN doesn't have and you know what that is?
EFFORT!!!
THEY CARED TO WRITE SMARTER AND GIVE KIDS ACTUALLY QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT. Sure not all of the experiments were successful but, at least they TRIED! And the the good stuff they made recently wasn't just good but, it was REALLY good!
You can tell that they actually cared for the viewers as breathing, thinking human beings and not as some brainless ape that they could trick into buying there crap. I seriously hope someday Disney XD can get more of a viewership because they fucking deserve it.
Seriously if you have the network give Disney XD a chance because at this point out of the three main networks that really airs cartoons Disney XD is the only one that is really trying. Just ignore there sitcoms because they aren't worth your time.
If Nickoldeon is stuck halfway down the hill and Disney XD is at the top of the hill then CN it rolling down the hill at 90 miles per hour.......... towards a pit of lava.

Apologies for the late reply. Hmmmm I am afraid I will have to disagree with most of the points you made below all in good spirits of course.
See all the CN shows you listed, I think look like crap. I have watched Adventure Time and am still waiting for it's finaly but the show's visual style is probably the main culprit of alot of these modern shows that have decided to go with the "noodle human" school of drawing things, the show has it's charm but again I always kind of look at it trying not to roll my eyes. Gumball is a missed opportunity with some great plot and ideas but again it looks hideious. Steven Universe I wont comment, I gave it a chance it's garbage and let's leave it at that.
And Disney really I cannot agree on that either, yes they did USED to produce quality shows for a robust audience but really all that is pretty much gone. Gravity Falls is a nice example if only it's character design didn't come from the Californian School of Arts (or so I've seen poeple describe it) really to me that is the ONLY example of Disney cartoon entertainment going back to it's root but with a big limp to it. Phineas and Ferb is their attempt to mimic CN's content and while it maybe fun in a childish way I dont see the appeal and find it annoying, the rest I either have not seen, do not care to see or it remains burried under a steady stream of live-action trash that Disney seems to think teens like.
Before the Ducktales 2017 argument is brought up as well I must dissmiss that as well, the show is trying way too hard to be modern and distinct by using it's own nostalgia fueled fanbase to garner some kind of attention. Visualy its boring, the palette is boring and the character designs stiff and uninspired the plots have good ideas but never fully explore them, the voice acting is annoying and so is the theme song, and most of the female characters being turned into former Russian Paratroopers and Sam Fisher's adopted anthropomorphic offspring was uncalled for and is just another attempt at the Disney corporation to try and shoehorn its own progressive ideals into the narrative (please look to the current Han Solo Star Wars movie for clarifiation) People give the My little pony example but really the show just got lazy and jumped in the same river of mediocrity it tryed so desperately to swim out of with it's current G4 setting.
Please consider this, entertainment such as that is just ugly. Companies play it safe and use producers who have either no talent or are too afraid to take a stand and defend their craft. Modern children's entertainment is dumbed down and ugly and media companies ESPECIALLY in the United States are using their franchises as nothingΒ more than a money making scheme and a platform for some backwoods ideals that can someone charm a certain demographic into making them moreΒ money. There is no risk involved, its just appealing to a focus group and I am frankly sick of seeing it.
As I said before, humans have a built in desire to seek out the beautiful the easthetically please, a sense of adventure and wonder, a brain that must be teased with a good story to let the imagination run wild not some loud and ugly reboot drawn by a progressive leftist with more right angles than a Nazi rally in a Minecraft Brick factory. Walt Disney himself said that cartoons must appeals to both children and adults since adults were kids at heart. I see nothing of the sort no matter how hard keyboard warriors defending this flash made, copy pasted diahrrea.

Cartoon Network is just trying to be hip and cool, considering they rebooted The Powerpuff Girls and a rumored Nintendo show coming to the network. They must have been on crack when they made the teaser. Still, itβs nice to see them trying to be creative and make the art a bit more cartoonish for the young audience.
