This just goes to show how much i am experimenting lately.. its my first piece combining two types of images together.Stock of tree from sxc.hu
and i brushed in most of the colourful sky..
I was a bit reluctant to submit this piece, as i dont normally like having many submissions of the same art piece. However i loved it so much and convinced me to post it in my gallery rather than my scrap folder.
Comments and favs welcome as always.. I cant wait to see the response. You guys will be my decision whether to continue experimenting with these kind of images, or continue on a new road.

Okay, forgive the really random comment, but to me the first thing that came to mind is "This tastes like orange"

very nice job on the composition here.. the planets on the right and the almost empty space on the left give me a very intense feeling!
the way how you implemented the tree is very nice and almost perfect.. only in the bottom right (where the sky gets a bit brighter) the leaves got a bit fuzzy..
what i almost like best about this one are the colors and the very detailed surface on the big planet.. together they make my eyes wander over the beauty you created!

Not bad, but not especially great, either. Your planets are okay and so's your starfield, but the foreground irks me a bit, it doesn't seem to have the proper sense of perspective, or scale... hmm. Well, it's your art, if that's what you wanted, more power to you.

This is very impressive. The colors are beautiful as is the final product. The sky's stars look really great, and actually realistic. Maybe try faiding from the dark...orange/brown to the yellow less notciably; it seems very abrupt. As for the trees at the bottom, they look obviously like it was a photo. Maybe try changing the levels of that layer so that the trees ... uhh.. look less photographic. I dont want to sound stupid about this, but... the planets just seem to be so close to where this shot was "taken". Maybe add a lot more space between where the trees start and where the planets do. Dont get me wrong, this is a great and beautiful peace. Keep working on these!

hi.. well the planet is HUGE which is why although it may be a few million miles away from the tree it still looks like its a stone throw away
and the fading... the lines that you are seeing are due to light whispy cirrus clouds... i did fade very smoothly but it looked very boring.. so i decided to add some nice cirrus clouds

very nice...this sunset (or moonset) seems to arouse a sort of lamenting feeling; like another day is done. Perhaps thats just the poet in me talking!

I love all those yellow-ish colours. That's really awesome, though I don't know if you should continue making that kind of images because everybody's doing those these days. Or then you just have to come up with bunch of new, fresh and cool new ideas and kick everybody's ass.
