yeh.. titles arnt easy 4 me... lol... well this was supposed to b in the supanova comp 2day... though they wernt gonna give it bak.... but it suked neway... michelles is gettin mailed to her, because it has a very good chance of winnin... and they didnt want her to to take it..... so yeh,..... this is chii....

Despite it not being an original work, I like it.
The greyscale of the ink and pencils adds character to the picture itself.

Excellent work man.....really impressed. Gotta fav this thing for sure. Would love to know how to make a featured deviation. If I can make it (featured deviation) anything this would most definately be in the running for it.

Oooh! This is wonderful! The thick pencil lines as outlines make the picture much cleaner than some of your others. Those definate lines make it look very neat and very finished. The composition is lovely as well.
Did you use a refrence from Chobits sitting infront of you or was this all draw from your head?

it was a copy.. like... it was infront of me also... jst copied its... and changed it a lil... it was 4 a contest... so i didnt wanna try from my head... which prolly woulda stuffed up bad

Awww.... well... Thats okay to do to start with, to learn the basics of drawing, but I would definately recomend continuing to do your own style and your own art. Some people would call this art theft.. kind of not cool.
Ever try looking at Chi's character design, then draw a picture of her in a totally different composition and totally different positions? That would definately be more legal, lol.
Still, nice drawing technicly. You got the style down well.

its not art theft.. tis called fan art... i take no credit 4 the character... i have tried.. and it sukd.. so meh... and doing that... copying like that is a good way to learn stuff... thats how most people learn... and im still learnin

What we do allow at this point in time is for artists to reproduce works (or copy) through their own effort. It is considered proper etiquette to cite the original artist of the inspiring work and give them credit for being the inspiration of such reproductions, especially if numerous details have been copied or otherwise borrowed.
So we meet halfway. Its not art theft by DA's standards, but you still need to credit CLAMP in the description. Fair?

Yessir. If its fanart then it was inspired by some other artist's work. Wouldn't you be annoyed if people stole your characters and acted as though the were theirs and never mentioned you?
