While hunting down a few Rammstein songs on a list a friend gave me, I came across this song that wasn't listed... but I've heard it before... so I decided to listen to it again a few times... -few-...(it's the remixed version: [link] )
So... 2am+"stripped" cover by Rammstein x a crapload of times+allnighter=this picture. Oh, forgot to mention, a few textbookish diagrams for reference too... which I still managed to butcher. Yay for madeup spine!
N yeah. It's 5am. I want sleep... even if it's just for 2 hours...

dA crapped on the image quality that my mac already crapped on... but I'm scared of this orphan thing now so... yeah. Matured for slight ass crack n... stripperz?
Expect this to be updated and edited later today when I have brains and when my eyes aren't burning.
*edit* - 10:24am... okay, realized that the coloured skeleton looked like shit. So I made it black... more contrast I suppose. Just looks better.... more darkish.

This is what brought me to your gallery, I saw it in someone's faves and just had to click. This picture is so interesting. I love the concept behind it and the background just makes it even cooler looking.

I like it. It's very interesting, and I can't say I've seen much of this sort of thing outside of anatomy studies, and those seldom are made in such a flashy (read "cool") style.

I actually had an idea very similar to this, from the same song. XD Except my idea was to show each layer peeling away in to binary code. But then again, I'm a computer nerd.

Well, the version I keep listening to has a lot of computerized sounds n stuff to it, so I can see where you're coming from on that one. Sounds like an interesting idea though! I say you draw it ;3

With practice and references I'm pretty sure you can :3 Mine here is still a little unproportional X_x
The key is: when I draw (figures in general) I break up the figure into its basic skeletal parts to help with posing and proportions.... that way when I actually have to draw a skeleton it makes it a bit easier.

I sort of do that. Aside from the lines and circles/ovals, I use like say, a line for the spine and a very rough outline for hips and rib-cages. But that's...sort of it.
