you know what...
this shot is so old I don't remember at all if I faked the DOF...
watching it I have to admit I think you're right (and I hate it too), I'll see if I can find the PSD and will check it.
In the meanwhile, thanks!

very well done on the tree. the clouds I think need to be a little sharper for me. It bothers me that there is a fuzzy look in the sky because I love this photograph

Breathtaking work. Amazing IR technique, I am just stunned at how evenly the background is blurred and yet still visible enough to give great depth to the entire work. And then the sharpness and clarity of the subject, you've really put good use to your tools. The effective timing/lighting seems very subtle in this shot, but has a huge impact I think. The strong shadow of the tree really gives the person a place in the picture. Do you see what I mean? (I'm sure it was intentional).
Most all your work that I browsed through has a very reminicent feel to it; your style really gives people something more to look at then just well executed techniques. Composing Dreams, I am not sure what the meaning is, even with the description. But I enjoy the mystery. It is my opinion that not all things are made to be understood by others.

they run through your body, caress your mind and soul, leave you feeling empty, but you know you are always full. a slight whisper from our lips, comes a song from the heart, playing in the light of day, and lingering through the night, never fading far' my finger wrapped around this pen, the ink drips my thoughts, and the image a melody of my dream....
excellente!! well done, expressed great, and wonderful IR!!!!!
