"Barry!" You shouted at the top of your lungs, as you walked along side Verity Lake Front.
The water glistened in the sunlight as you explored the grassy area.
Ever since you returned to Twinleaf Town, your child hood friend had called you right away.
"Hey! Meet me near Verity Lave!" he exclaimed over the phone. "I have something to tell you! Don't be late!"
With that said you quickly dashed towards the lake front. You placed your hands on your hips and pouted.

"Where is he?" You muttered.
"There you are!" A boy hollered, with your back turned. You glanced over your shoulder to see Barry, his hand on his knees as he panted.
You turned around and folded your arms across your chest, a smirk upon your face.
"I thought I'm the one who's supposed to be late." you exclaimed. He straightened his back and pointed in your direction.
"You need to tell me when you visit town!" he shouted. With the roll of your eyes you sat down on the ground, with your legs folded.

"What do you want to tell me?" You asked as you raised an eyebrow.
As the blonde took a seat next to you, a light shade of red covered his face.
"What would you do if a boy said he liked you?" As he asked the question he tried his best to avoid eye contact.
You giggled and placed your hand on top of his, as he kept his hand on the grass.
"I don't know, that never happened." You admitted with a smile. His blush deepened as you kept your hand on his.
"Well great, 'cause I don't like you!" he yelled. You continued to smile yet removed his hand from his, and lightly shrugged.
"I love you instead." he murmured. You kept your head turned to the blonde as heat rose to your face making you blush.
"What was that?" you giggled. The male rose to his feet and folded his arms.
"I said I actually love you!" he shouted. His face was red and he tried his hardest to avoid eye contact.

You scoffed and stood on your feet, and brushed off your clothing. "Nice prank Barry, but I don't have time for thi-"
Your sentence was cut off by the blonde as he planted a kiss on your lips. He pulled away from the kiss to pull you in a tight hug.
"Do you still think this is a joke?" He said softly in your ear.
You chuckled softly and hugged back your childhood friend.
