Sure thing Randy, This one was tricky, as I needed to have part of it done with tiles and part painted like jade. I did the sculpt in WED clay, and made a silicone case mold that snapped into the mother mold. For the tile area I pressed in 1/4 inch of sculpy with lots of "buttons" that would lock into the next layer, then poured a hollow resin cast over that and into the rest of the mold. When that Cured I was able to remove it from the mold leaving the uncured sculpy locked into the resin but still maintaining the shape of the sculpt. I could then press the tiles into the soft sculpy and shave off the excess keeping the shape of the original sculpt. After cooking the sculpy I could sand, carve and paint the non tile areas. It was very light weight and with enough washes of color get the jade finish the director wanted. Done in one 48 hour session. Hope that explains it fairly well

thanks so much clay and resin for the most part. faux and real tiles and lots of paint I cast part of it in sculpy so i could embed the tiles and the rest I cast in resin so i could make it look like jade. Painted lots of wooded beads and backed the main parts in leather and wood.
