Thanks! No you haven't, I am always open to new techniques, although I'll give one now: Don't use cardstock as your primary surface for watercolor!

check it out. after you add basic color. Use white on it, with brush over the base.
Make sure the base is stronger than it need to be, so when you add white, it becomes just like you wanted to be.
That's as close as I can explain. (:
Just try and experiment with it, the solution will show up.

Before I do experiment with it, are you referring to white poster color or white watercolor paint like a chinese white?

I'll also tell you that it won't work the same way with gouache, White gouache is a different animal.

yes, poster color. It's same as gouache.
Did I show you before? I use these---> [link]
it's tempera, but not any, only poster! Other colors suck... If you use gouache, it's perfect. It's best color.
anyway, colors from tube can be used in watercolor technique... It's totally the same.
If it gets dry on the pallet, it's exactly like watercolor, right? (:

Yea it's pretty great! In fact the pallet I use the most is a travel pallet I made out of an Altoids Tin (Breath mints tin).
