I'm usually kind of down on a lot of the artwork that I make, but this one turned out pretty cool. it is also an example of me using a lot of different tools to achieve this look, from liquid watercolor paper to computer graphics.Traditional portion: Gouache paint on watercolor paper

Thank you very much, I do have more of these in my gallery and I am prepping to do several more. Where looking at the super nintendo sprites makes the 16-bit music come to mind, I want these paintings to make an orchestral version of the music come to mind.

Yea, it's good to do as much as you can with traditional materials, but sometimes adding a digital touch will give it a good punch.

Frog was one of my favorites from Chrono Trigger..which is also probably my favorite rpg!

It's one of my favorite RPGs as well. I don't know if Frog is my favorite. I kind of think that I don't have a favorite. Well I would say that Ayla maybe has my least favorite music theme.
