You should go watch this series. I don't quite understand how everything started (I think it's Huke who drew the character designs and basic story, and then ryo wrote the song, and then internet people added to the story, and then the OVA was created. Or something like that). But you should watch the OVA. It's only about an hour, but the animations are really cool.

Glassy eyes takes forever. Trust me. I bet amazing people can get it within a few minutes, but I literally take 30 minutes on just the eyes. x_x
