Absolutely awesome, Tim ! The color combination that nature shows (and you enhanced) on this photo is magnificent. I really like the composition, so warm and captivating with many attention focuses
The colors of the rocks are unbelievable and the flowing water looks like fluid gold !!

Gorgeous shot. I love the angle.

Worth the drive up there just for this but now that you've said fish...I'm bringing my pole!

Where's my fishing pole? The big one is in there, I know it is. Great angle on this Tim, the rock is amazing with all its variants.

It's very old sandstone in this state, with veins of sulfur laden coal so lots of color. And there are big bass in that water!

Largemouth bass about 20 inches and 2 or 3 pounds

I throw those back for bait.

A 3 pound bass is rare thing in these creeks.

Too bad for you. Fish are getting scarcer, but you can still have a good day catching anything from 2 to 6 pounds here. beautiful lakes, ponds and rivers here too.

TimLaSure In reply to SMerle [2009-05-10 15:54:07 +0000 UTC]

The creeks here just are not big enough to support bass to grow that big. In the lakes and rivers they get big. This creek you can walk across most of the summer.

nice! I love a creed you can walk across.
