Description Part 10 of Mr Unpronounceables latest adventures...

I had this dream where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were looking after my son, and this is what he looked like after Tom was done poisoning him with creepy Scientology drugs (i am aware of the scientologists stance on such things yes.)
I must say that It's nice to end one of these strips with Mr U having a good time...even if he is surfing a wave of carniverous slugs (and no i havent seen 'Slither', although i suppose I should since the cover has obviously crept into my subconcious...) actually there was a movie I saw when i was a child that made quite an impression on me, it was about these mutant worms that were struck by lightening or something, they did lots of 'fleshdiving' and the like, hmm.
AAANYWAY...

It will be a couple of weeks til I put the next one up, so 'happy trails to you, til we meet again...'

You haven't seen it? Cause that's pretty much what happens except it's a full grown female filled with worms and her whole body explodes...

These are bizarre and grotesque in the most fascinating way--I love them. The colors are dreamlike without being obnoxiously oversaturated, the freakishness unnerving without being only for the sake of gross-out. I love it! I'd pay good money for a book of this. :]

Out of curiosity, have you read anything by Jim Woodring? You have similar styles in some ways. You might like his stuff. Also, have you read "The Wasp Factory" by Iain M. Banks? I don't want to give anything away, but this page reminded me of that book.

Again, I really love these, I think I'm your newest devotee. :]

I hope I get a chance to say to someone's child someday that their infant's face is a sin against nature, and I hope that it's in the proper context. . . And a talking monkey would be second on that hope list.

I love the eye on the back of the baby's crib. The eye motif always makes me kinda adopt a demented sorta slick smile whenever I see it. Maybe that was your intention all along?
I like how you bring out the best in everyones vocabulary yo, haha.. the people who leave comments on your stuff always sound particularly astute.

But pats on the back all around Tim. Very cool. I would love to buy you a drink. Forgive me for not being able to come to the conclusion myself but I just wanted to ask you: the 'he' in "He hasn't had enough!".. that's refering to the baby, right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

timmolloy In reply to Hackpth [2007-03-06 06:37:55 +0000 UTC]

thanks! your guess is as good as mine as far as who the monkey is talking about. when the incident occured in 'real life' i heard that exact phrase being whispered over and over again, and when I investigated its source i saw the monkey, crouched between two guitar amps...at the time i thought the monkey might have been refering to my friend James,, who was present, but he seemed to think he had indeed had a satisfactory amount... for more detail read the note on the previous page (He Hasnt Had Enough)

I have to say its kind of surreal seeing Mr U enjoying himself like that.

By the way, that flesh eating worm movie you mentioned wouldn’t happend to have had an antique obsessed city boy on a trip to the deep south to visit a lady friend, in it?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

timmolloy In reply to paxtin [2007-03-06 04:31:03 +0000 UTC]

that rings a bell! it was definitely the deep south... i think the film was actually just called 'Worms.'
yeah, like lightening hits a barrel of toxic waste and kabam, killer worms... i think...

And I just noticed the eye on the crib. I love that eye.
