Heres a process image to a portion of the new WU-TANG-CLAN "WU-MASSACRE" album cover by myself and Chris Bachalo. This one features Ghost Face. Youll notice some subtle changes from the pencils to the inks. All a part of the commercial art gig....arbitrary changes. Yay!Related content

hey tim assuming chris gives you his pencils on the standard bristol board, do you ink directly over his pencils or do you have another substrate you ink on (duralene, vellum) ? just curious....cause i was trippin on your line work; it looks a bit smaller or choked. obviously you can clean up pencils but, it seems your ink has less of a footprint than his pencils. just curious.
you are quite good at your craft, no matter how you approach it...
do you still have any of your books left? if so, how can i get one and does the book go into your techniques or is it a portfoliio showcase only?

I ink directly on the original pencils. Always have.

Ive still got books. Look in my Journal Entries for the post about the book. It gives the ordering details. The books focuses more on my drawing and fully realized art as opposed to my inking. I wanted to do something that showed a little more range than what Im typically known for.

sounds stupid but...I especially love how chris bachalo draws chains! I never had the patience to achieve a good one! and his chains are always very great!
