Paradigm transit fighters at the bottom have a troubled history shrouded in legend. Though highly successful models technically Lougheed-Kolinsky craft were favoured by the early Savitari during the push hubward, with hundreds of ships being lost charting the boundaries of the exclusion zone. While countless paradigm transit fighters are partly or fully preserved as colonial museum ships in the Gilded Age, those of Lougheed-Kolinsky manufacture are not only few in number but dwindling. The name of Lougheed-Kolinsky, once a byword for the finest shipbuilding tradition among the Twelve Planets, is forever associated with the unexplained perils of space, held sacred by cults worshipping the power of the exclusion zone; such craft are the favoured arks of those seeking eternal freedom from the darkness of space.
