THIS...is a remake of this picture. From quite literally EIGHT YEARS ago, barely a bit after I first started dA!

And yes...this is Sargjinn.

Let us count the ways in which he has appeared through the years, starting from my SUPER early years when my main focus was Eccentrix-verse!

Again, before he was pretty much just Sargeras from WoW. Although I think this exceeds that a good deal, and I am REALLY proud of it. XD

From flames that had the audacity to erupt from the ocean...The Devil Lord, Sargjinn arises from the depths, looking to the Ascended Kingdoms above with fury and fire in his gaze.

He is thought to be a sort of omnipresent force in Rahab's Hell that can only ever manifest in the world with a LOT of corrupted souls to make up a body for him. He is not a flesh-and-blood being by any means, but a sort of "Elemental" composed of pain, suffering, and hellfire. A force of nature in his own right that comes and goes like any other natural disaster.

It is thought that Rahab himself had caused Sargjinn's existence. It is not known for sure, but even the Hellmouth seems to refer to Sargjinn as a sort of deity, and he certainly seems to have the power of one. Wherever he goes, flames and disaster are sure to follow.

He had manifested five times during the course of the Age of Dark Lords...and only once, during the end of the Elvish Empire's reign, and when Norbert the Dragon became a King.

However...this last time he appeared, King Norbert had found the secret to destroying his manifested form: purify the twisted, corrupt souls that make him up. Aim not to attack and kill him. But to provide escape for those he has consumed. One escapee becomes many with the glow of King Norbert's sword, as they vacate Sargjinn's being, spilling out of his ribcage like he's being disemboweled.

With that...he was empty.

He is no more.

Sargjinn is back in Hell...

And looking for a more permanent solution to his problem.
