YESS. FINALLY. Got a design for this guy. I'm actually kinda shaky on whether or not I managed to design him well, but I'll let you guys decide! Whether he's good, or should go back to the drawing board.NOTE: As always, a lot of this layout has been indeed inspired by , and this line of Mons was originally thought of by and any resemblance to 's is purely accidental. I knew it existed, and tried REALLY hard to make it look at least a little different, knowing he got to the idea of a sea serpent starter first. @_@ I hope you guys still enjoy tho!

No. 7: Coralia (Coral Snake)
Type: Water
Species: The Sea Snake Pokemon
Dex Entry: Coralia are naturally very skittish outside of their natural water habitat. Since their Water-Type techniques aren't very strong, they rely on a hideously poisonous venom for self-defense, and frequently make their shelter in coral reefs. They are clumsy on land. But they seem unusually common in the wreckages of old boats.

Species: The Sea Serpent Pokemon
Dex Entry: With far more control over their moves, they are often invested in working through using their powers with tact and cunning. This is how wild individuals survive in the present day, using group tactics, camouflage and venom to compete with other aquatic predators. And for that matter, they can travel on land despite a lack of legs.

No. 9: Jormungigas (Jormungard + Gigas)
Type: Water/Poison
Species: The World Serpent Pokemon
Dex Entry: These massive Pokemon roamed the seas many millenia ago before the oceans became cold. Present day Jormungigas hunt for food en masse by causing the seas to become stormy, weakening them en masse before taking its pick as it pleases. This Pokemon destroyed ancient ships as they passed.

Psst... I'm the creator of the original Aquasp line you mentioned (I changed accounts after I was locked out of the old one YEARS ago) - and I have no problems with your design! I guess sea snake Pokemon pretty much have to be Water/Poison lol, and I'd only have reason to worry if you'd make your design hydra-based like mine. 
Don't be discouraged if your design has the same inspiration as someone else's. If anything, be creative with that same inspiration, and try to think about what you could do with it to make your design stick out in its own unique way. (Like the way I gave Hydrossion multiple heads for example!) If you really want to go with the Midgard Serpent theme for yours (as it seems that your starter theme is different mythologies), perhaps you could work the dragony figureheads of Viking longships into your design, just to make it look more interesting.
Anyway, great work with your starters overall, and I look forward to seeing where you'll this region in the future!

Ah, I didn't know you were still on dA! I do apologize for not commenting sooner, I have been in the midst of an art hiatus.
Still, thanks for reassuring me, because I really was worried for a moment there that it was too similar. In any case, like your work, and will take all of your advice into account! I think that if my art style pick up, I'll try giving my Fakemons a revamp. For some even a redesign.

Oooh, I was prolly thinking arms when I was writing this. Knuckrait is kind of like a Naga in that it slither upright, but leaves it's arms free.

I imagine this thing'd have a Base Speed of 130, and a Special Attack of 122. Even better considering I think it'd learn HURRICANE too! And Hydro Pump. If you've got a Drizzle Jormungigas on your hands, you've got one terrifying starter. Very flimsy defenses, but fast, and absolutely terrifying to fight.

Oh man alive, these guys are BIG ballers. As it says on their height chart, they are usually the size of your average Gyarados, and sometimes even BIGGER, which is absolutely monstrous for a Water Starter. Fitting, since they hunt by causing literal storms at sea.

because I see a lot of yellow in their design, does it have any intentional meaning they can learn some electric type moves?
Also, it's funny through evolving Coralia goes the opposide way Snivy line does: it gains limbs instead of losing them, I find this funny x3

Actually yes! The thing is that they are Pokemon known for causing storms. So they actually learn Thunder by level up, which makes this guy a horseman of the apocalypse if you happen to have Drizzle as an ability. XD
