And for our Junie entry, here is Janie Silicone, the fantabulous Mother Muscles, showing off the superb sculpting and superior shreddedness that made her the phenom she is. She's on the dock of an entire private island, donated by a very private admirer who could not be reached for comment. But just look at those volcanic peaks, folks!

The history of one of the most influential competitors in modern metahuman bodybuilding, Janie Silicone, not to mention her private life , is shrouded in mystery. She's known to be a mutate, though there's some question as to whether or not her family-- mother, daughters, and one son, all extremely heavily muscular and strong, though none of them match Janie-- are mutates or mutants, since very little is known about her mother prior to even Janie's time conquering the international competition stage. What she has let others know is that she took an experimental Russian growth hormone that interacted with an extremely rare cluster of genes that reacted to the hormone and began to first overproduce, and than, at a little below her current size, slowed to a more mild-- but constant-- musclemass (and elsewhere...) growth.

Functionally, Janie doesn't require working out to build muscle mass, though she does so for additional growth and for the pure pleasure of it. Each of her family members either responded highly positively to the hormone, though most people don't respond at all or have negative reactions. These days, Janie owns the lab that created the hormone and has parlayed access to those scientists into further monetary and other forms of influence.

It isn't known how she afforded the lab on her pre-Mother Muscles fame, but everything seems above board.

After all...

No one says a word against her.

The actual text of the calendar reads more like, "After all, no one could ever say a word against Mother Muscles!" But it really is "After all dot dot dot No one says a word against her SIGNFICANT PAUSE."

Mostly no one says a word against her, of course; there are always rumors that follow any muscular woman, let alone any muscular metahuman. Despite how common at least some level of muscularity is for men and women of the SWOLE Earth-- Spite, for example, is a sound elemental brawnier than most male bodybuilders-- and how hard the women of mainstream civilizations have been at fighting back against the Amazons, at least some accusation of Amazon heritage and/or proclivities follows any such woman. Especially for someone like Janie, who could trade punches with Curb Stomp II and win, at least in the confines of a ring, and keep up with some of the hardass ladies (and gents!) of the infamous Muscle Brigade.

But of course, everyone knows her influential role in helping to shepherd younger female meta-bodybuilders.

(And how... close... she gets with them.)

Everyone knows what a charming ambassador and paragon of metahumanity in general, and brawny women in specific, she can be.

(Not quite so many know about the other private streaming service she gives to a fairly rich and mostly male clientele-- one with such a high churn rate)

And of course, everyone knows that she is a close friend of that sterling paragon and defender of the downtrodden, Jeni Any...

(But the other older and more experienced women in her life know how quick she is to latch onto any mother figure who shows her the slightest sign of approval and warmth)

Janie Silicone is a legendary figure on SWOLE Earth, for her influence, for her fame, and for her incredible strength. But there is a cold shadow cast behind the warmth of her public persona. One that has functionally been deflected-- for a time-- by the influence of her friendship with the young SWOLE Science and Sorcery Director.

And while Charm and Talgyx have been consumed by caring for Crystal Angel, Janie's too smart to pressure Tech, and Starfist unconsciously sees her as a 'worthy matriarch,' it's not just the other SWOLE Directors and their ancillaries watching out for Jeni-- and it's not just SWOLE watching out for the muscular...

Or the misuse of strength. So while Sally Callaghan looks into Jeni's affairs from the point of view of a mother seeking to protect a young lady of her acquaintance, and Jeni's friends at MMMM are coming up with some... interesting... cases near to Janie Silicone...

The Muscle Brigade, the champions of the lost and the forgotten, are beginning to discover a lot of the wealthy and powerful they'd been putting pressure on to get protection for the homeless, vets, and subjects of metahuman experimentation like themselves are going missing-- primarily because they're being blamed for the absences either directly, or as a result of their charismatic presence and appearance getting those people hooked on the muscle scene. They know their own, and police their own, so they're pretty sure it's not them.

Em isn't going to let her Brigade be victimized again, and her concern has Bjorn searching stranger means of finding information. But Janie's not alone-- and not just her family, either. Maybe the Norddahl ladies have transitioned from brutalizing men and pursuing control of the local underworld to just ruling their local underworld and brutalizing men occasionally, when Macks Johnson doesn't keep them entertained well enough-- but they're still good friends of dear Janie; in fact, Mrs. Norddahl herself has recently come for a visit to the US for a bit of a break from family life and to touch bases with her friend and fellow... hobbyist.

But they're not the only Infiltrator family out there, just the one that's managed to clean off the Amazon influence the most.

And Janie is quite popular in those circles as well.

Oh, and as a side note, apparently Janie's wife, Blake, is even larger than she is, but Blake doesn't participate in public events, so her appearance, capabilities, and... proclivities... are even less well-known than Janie's...
