Description Matilda and Edith on a little walk in the mist. :>

It probably doesn't look like it, but this picture took ages to paint. XD I also made the extremely stupid mistake to paint the background before I'd looked at the perspective on the sketch with the horse, so that part looks a bit odd. ;n;

I so love this!  You've captured such a great atmosphere in this! And really love the looks of Edith and Matilda loosing themselves in the crisp foggy and cold air. It reminds me very much of the atmosphere of the place where I go riding now and then, with such beautiful landscapes and cool mornings. Just beautiful! You really have a way for capturing atmosphere and feeling in your works, that is quite unique.

I knew this would look amazing. That background, especially, oh my god. How. How do you even do backgrounds because I honestly want some mad skills like yours. That is just so gorgeous, really. I especially like that back-lighting on the fence, and the trees fading in the mist. Edith and Matilda look so lovely, too.  I really love Matilda's coat And Edith's face, she really looks like a kindly draft horse.
