Haha, hatchet fish are awesome. Ampugape reminds me of a Gulper Eel/Pelican Eel hybridized with a hatchet, though in a good way!

The Gulper Eel is one of my favorite animals of all time. It's like some unholy demon of epicness and big-mouth-ness.
