There's a giant mirror in the back of the picture.
Again, very cool. Did you do individual squares? Or one mat block. It would have saved time by putting in one mat block, and put in the chess material with a overlay of the material you got. Unless you tried and it didn't come out right.

Yes, that is correct, and I wish C4D would do the same... With Bryce's long render times it's nearly a necessity lol! It's one of the reasons why I import a lot of my C4D objects into Bryce and render them there...

yeah, I have bryce i'll give that a try if the render time is longer than an hour, but if it isn't, i'll stick to c4d's renderer because I prefer some of its render options, eg caustics and global illumination
