Taken at Wolf Park - Battle Creek, INMy trip to Wolf Park couldn't be complete without an extreme close-up of one of the wolves. And of course I would have to choose Ruedi, the omega of the main pack. I could have cloned out that big of algae decorating his nose, but somehow it just seemed way more appropriate to leave it there. If anything to show a more approachable side to the wolves beyond all the fairy tales of the big bad wolf.
As I was processing this, I did notice the very cool effect of the eye on the right. Notice the little star-like patterns around his iris? Very cool!

Thank you! Although the golden eyes of the others were beautiful too, the silver-blue was just so unusual and gorgeous.
