Remember the little cub from [link] ? I decided to continue the what if thingy and draw her as a young adult!
Risen by her father, her heart quickly become filled with darkness and hatred. She was harshly trained to be a worthy and strong heiress (pretty much like Zira did with Kovu) and, the most important thing, to kill Simba if he ever dared to come back.

if she was grown to hate Simba then she'd kill him without a thought like Kovu should of done but I believe because he used to be friends with the little princess that's why they fell in love.

Don't know, in my version Zira got pregnant young and had a daughter named Zera she was already running around by the time Simba and Nala were born and Nuka was born not long after Zera was a teenΒ
Zera is Kovu's mom in my version, but she named him Mdogo she was killed at the end of Scars reign by hyenas and Zira took her grandson in as her own raising him besides Vitani because she didn't know what name her daughter gave her grandcub she named him KovuΒ
No but nala knew about Zera having a cub since Simba wasn't around at that time and everyone hated Zira and nd her family and Zira and Nuka never talk about her so only nala knows the truth about Kovu in my head cannonΒ
In my version the lost of her mate. A lion who was like a little brother to her which was Scar and the lost of her eldest daughters broke Zira's sanity that and she had a pretty abusive mother to so there's that childhoodΒ

Nala made her have a bigger part in the second movie in my head cannon who unlike Simba understands the outsiders more than he does which is why Kiara trust them more because of the play dates and getting to know them course secretly nala never told Simba cause of his paranoiaΒ

Actually yes, in my story, Zana seeks to avenge Zira's death, she doesn't like Scar because she believed he had a part to play in Zira's death, she also is more dangerous than Zira and does not speak very often.
