When you make a melee weapon attack using Strength, you gain a bonus to the damage roll that increases as you gain levels as a barbarian, as shown in the Rage Damage column of the Barbarian table.

You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

If you are able to cast spells, you can't cast them or concentrate on them while raging.

Your rage lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven't attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.

Once you have raged the number of times shown for your barbarian level in the Rages column of the Barbarian table, you must finish a long rest before you can rage again.

Story

When Aswald was a child, the only other female Black Scuirian he knew was his own mother, Yamelia. At the time, she was the commander for their home’s army against the Red Kobolds, led by a Blue Dragonborn, who seek to claim their forest home as their own. Aswald’s mother died in battle when he was really young, and thus, he was raised by his father alone. A sense of vengeance and responsibility, Aswald dedicated his life to training in combat and military tactics to take his mother’s place in the war that spanned years.

Successfully becoming a commander, his skills and tactics turned the tide of the battle spanned years into their favour and was ready for one final push to end the war once and for all. However, Scuirian culture dictated that all soldiers should find a mate and produce a child, so that should they die, their numbers are not reduced, but most of Aswald’s men were either nervous or refused to do so, so to make up for them, he mated with 12 other females of grey and brown, before going into battle.

The battle was long and hard, but victorious as Aswald killed the Dragonborn Leader in a vicious one-on-one battle, peace thrived once again, but Aswald had one new problem, 12 girls and 22 children. Unable to be with even one of them and none of them able to support their child easily, Aswald decided he would turn to a Mercenary, to do good, to sort his hyperactivity and to pay for the child support of all the children he’s made.

Personality

Aswald is kind and jovial, he’s easily approachable and more often than not, doesn’t resort to violence unless someone else starts it with him. He takes great pride in the forest life and has a “Give and take” philosophy when it comes to using their wood for every day life, he’s ok with people cutting down trees to make all sorts provided they only take what’s necessary and plant new ones in their place. When it comes to his mercenary work, he only works for officials or good people to fend off against bandits or other criminals and sends 90% of all his money to his home for child support, he doesn’t stay in one place for too long, thus he doesn’t have a real home aside from his forest.

Notes

    ·         15 Years Old

    ·         3ft 6

    ·         240lbs

    ·         His common saying is “I’ve cracked nuts bigger than yer’s.” He uses the phrase, “Cracking Nuts” for a lot of things.

    ·         He speaks Draconic because during his war days, his Kobold enemies spoke Draconic, so he learned the language to communicate with them.

    ·         Owns a Thieves Tool Kit from winning it in a card game, though he's never used it.

    ·         Usually walks on fours. Fights on twos.

    ·         His tail is abnormally large and fluffier than other Scuirians, tends to get clipped or snagged.

Flaws

    ·         Very greedy when it comes to food.

    ·         FAT!!!

    ·         Because of his early reclused nature, can come off as unintentionally rude, and has a lot of different words for other things.

    ·         Doesn’t sugar-coat his words, says them as blunt as possible.
