Description
A foggy day on the Piedra Lisa trail in the Sandia Mountains. The fog just got thicker as I gained elevation. Felt like I was in a rain forest, instead of a desert climate. On the Juan Tabo ridge here, at 8148 ft above sea level, the fog was so thick it felt like rain, and the spectacular views were completely obscured.Related content

I like all the colors in this one, the "earth tones," "orange," "green," "blue." It works very well - I like seeing the path, too.

I had wanted to show what I was feeling, even though it was just a photo: No views in any direction, which is disappointing, but, on the other hand, there was something to appreciate right there. Very much like life itself: facing disappointment, we have to appreciate what is right in front of us.
