Description
So here we have Ash at the height of her power.

As an elf, Aisling had a very long lifespan, being in the region of 700 years old by the time she died. But for as loyal and powerful a servant of the Raven Queen as she was, death wasn't the end.

Aisling's soul entered the Shadowfell, where the Raven Queen's palace rests, and there she became a Valkyrie, an immortal Angel of Death in direct service to her Goddess. Kallista, having passed much sooner- Tieflings have a lifetime around the same as that of a human- was already one, and in fact, she was the Valkyrie that guided Ash into the afterlife.

While the two act as their Queen's left and right hands respectively, Ash specifically is the Queen's Vengeance, sent to strike down those that would pervert the balance of life and death. Normally this just means taking the soul after the target is slain by a mortal, as the Queen prefers to act through manipulating fate instead of intervening directly, sometimes firmer hand is needed.

In these cases, Aisling is incarnated in a new mortal body, equipped to kill her target. But if that proves to not be enough, then she is able to unchain her full power as a Valkyrie.

Doing so will destroy her mortal body, and her immortal form can't exist on the mortal plane for long, but the scant time she has is normally enough.

In this form, her size doubles, standing four and a half metres in height, and she is wreathed in shadows and surrounded by icy winds, and though she can dismiss both of these if she wishes, her body remains chilly to the touch. Terminus Est, her sword, and assume the form of a scythe, which is pretty much instant death against any mortal targets.
