This kind of reminds me of Utada Hikaru's Passion PV where in the animated begining Utada is flying about the place.
It's so sureal....and magical.. like a bird taking flight for the first time..

Love all : colours, drawing, character's intention in face... She also has a small right hand which makes thinking she has very long arms and improves her powerfulness.

She reminds me of the way a Djinni would fly, so it doesn't look too out of the ordinary to me.
(nb: djinni is pronounced "genie" like from Aladdin, but it's the proper way to spell it =3)
In fact this looks very much like other illustrations of Djinn I've seen ^^ very nice. I like it
