More rendering experiments. I added a little color and some pencil texture to my portrait from a few nights ago, and threw together the PMD image. I’m still trying to find my direction, there are elements that I really like in these approaches, but it’s not quite there yet. In the PMD, the paint texture kind of muddies things a little. I need to figure out how to make that work better. I also started another sketch to try some things out on, which I’ll post when I get it further along.
