If you haven't read Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, you're really missing out. It's one of the best young adult series out there.EDIT: WOW no more comments, guys. If you like the picture, great, if you don't, I'm sorry my skills weren't up to your standards when I drew this two years ago.

deffinately, not a genius but he is when it comes to combat. i just picture him bigger! have you seen the graphic novel of the first book? i dont like how they drew him, his neck is extremely bulging

yeah definately they went too far on the whole idea that butler is big. i didnt like the mistakes in details from the book either. butler fights the troll and the description in the book tells how he lowers the visor on the helmet and swings a mace at the beast, in the graphic novel he has no visor and hes not using a mace. i was pretty dissappointed

You really captured Artemis' face. I have looked through a lot of people's pictures, but this one captures his expression perfectly.
I wonder why is it that the really smart people have extremes in hair color: such as black or white. (In reference to Artemis, and L from Death Note, as well as Near in Death Note)

There's very few series I read where the main character is also my favorite, but this is one of them. Though Butler's pretty awesome, too.
