Not to mention he'd probably bite my hand off if I tried to pet him. xD

Oh yeah, you'd be eaten alive rather than bitten with loads of venomous bacteria infecting your entire immune system.

I'm pretty certain that the bacteria aren't venomous themselves.

I came up with this new concept based in the outback during the Pleistocene Epoch. It's about a young aboriginal who wants to become leader of his tribe, but has to do so by doing very difficult tasks by hunting and defeating predators. But makes a few animal friends along the way.

What do you think?

I already like it! And I've already got an idea for an animal companion; and orphaned thylacine named Crunch, after his extreme biting prowess.

Do you think Jemaine Clement would make a good voice for one of the characters?

I also thought of a grumpy Diprotodon character. Got any suggestions for his name?

I see...a battle scarred Diprotodon, with a scar on his right side from a marsupial lion attack, and lost his eye to a scar from and equally hungry thylacine. I dub thee...as clichΓ© as it sounds, Scarface.

I am also thinking of including a Zygomaturus and a Genyornis in this concept. Whether they would become characters that help the protagonist out on his adventure or they could be background animals or animals to ride on. What do you think?

I'm thinking of either making it into a picture book, comic, and a stop motion or hand-drawn animation. Which do you think works best?

I also came up with a female Moa character and a Procoptodon character named Claw Paw.

Got an idea for a name of our Diprotodon?

I like that very much. My other idea for the Diprotodon, which we can add to your idea, will be that he will be a wise Diprotodon who's been thought most of the outback and many dangerous parts.

Our human protagonist will persuade him to take him to Red Rock Canyon, seeing as he can't do reach certain places on his own, but will refuse to take him, as he has been through too much and also because he hates humans, but has to learn to get along with him.

I really like that name. I was originally going to go with names like Bondi or Reg, but Crunch sounds even more awesome and well suited for his species.

Thanks. I've been practicing quite a bit with Photoshop and Illustrator lately and I've gotten better at supplying shading, lighting and textures.

I've also taken inspiration from former Disney animator and Wildlife artist Aaron Blaise to create this artwork. I'm really glad you like it.
