Old 3D work... my new stuff on Tom IsaksenA little tribute to one of my best childhood toys, Skeletor from Masters of the Universe.
The design I based around the original toy, but I’ve taken a few liberties and changed the design a little with some inspiration from the newer Skeletor toys. Tried to stick to the original colors and didn’t want to stray too far from the “He’s a toy” feel.
Modeled in ZBrush, rendered in 3ds Max. I used the Decimate plugin for Zbrush to reduce the polygon count and import to Max for render.

Actually,.. One is already made in a 30mm version... and larger versions are planned... 12 inches.

Fabulous piece - i actually thought this was a real-life model until i read the description! The textures are outstanding; i particularly liked the material for Skeletor's hood, which really looks like woven cloth.
